IPS is known for its strong commitment to research and development, with over 80% of its workforce engaged in these activities and 27% of the company’s investment allocated to innovation. The company produces over 65 collections annually, drawing upon a historical archive of over 12,000 garments.
HISTORY
1994
IPS was established by Enrico Marzioni, a forward-thinking expert in the laundry sector and in the manufacturing of elaborate garments.
1997
Not long after its foundation, IPS expanded into the luxury sector, broadening its offering and forging partnerships with leading brands in the industry.
2001
The opening of a new head office in Misano Adriatico marked a major step in the company’s expansion.
2007
The company expanded its pattern-making and prototyping department in order to be able to handle all current product categories.
2011-2013
Enrico’s daughter Cristina joined the family business as Managing Director, while her husband Federico took on the role of General Manager, both bringing additional skills and a new vision to strengthen the company’s leadership.
2015
The Urbania site was expanded to increase the cutting, manufacturing and ironing activities, thus boosting the company’s own denim manufacturing capacity.
2018
The Star Capital fund entered the capital, bringing new investments, a new management team and new growth prospects. The same year IPS joined SNG.
2020
IPS made new investments and initiated projects focused on sustainability, reflecting its commitment to responsible business practices.
2021
The company opened new management and sales offices, which further improved its organizational structure and operating capacity.
2023
IPS was recognized by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion as a haute couture brand in the eco-friendly category for manufacturing denim with regenerated cotton and laser processing, which guarantees a chemical-free process.
2024
IPS was awarded by Class TV Moda and Milano Finanza with the ‘Premio Motore’ as the best company in the Marche region for the processing and study of dedicated materials. That same year IPS became part of Gruppo Florence.

As a leading expert in denim manufacturing, IPS has an extensive historical archive of thousands of denim garments produced over the course of over 30 years in business. In fact, the company has developed hundreds of collections and numerous styles for top brands, experimenting with a wide range of washes, dyes, treatments, finishes, and special operations on finished garments.
